Milla Jovovich: “People Love Me In Action Movies”
Milla Jovovich who is the queen of bad action movies will try to keep her streak alive with “The Three Musketeers.” With average at best director and husband, Paul Anderson at the helm this film will surely have lots of over-the-top explosions, and dialogue with extra cheese. He is like a poor man’s Michael Bay. Let’s be honest the best part of a Milla Jovovich movie is that she isn’t shy about her birthday suit. The one positive I’ll give her is that she is actually a pretty good actress, but she needs a new agent and a more talented husband.
Do you like the title given to you? What do you think about it?
I’m 35 now and I think the opposite. It is okay. People love me in action movies, and that’s awesome. I’m serious about my career and I still get to do my independent films and record my music on the side. It’s all good. I’m very happy.
What was it like to be directed by your husband?
I love to work with Paul and he knows he can depend on me 110 per cent. I made a movie called Stone, a psychological drama with Robert De Niro, recently that was difficult and emotionally demanding. I would come back to my hotel room after work and just cry, cry and cry. I couldn’t get the character out of my head. But Paul and I make fun movies that aren’t emotionally draining.
How about your experience while shooting the 3D shots of the movie of The Three Musketeers?
It’s completely new and people have never seen something like this before. This is a different version of The Three Musketeers (the parent versions) showcases the new generations of Three Muskeeters which takes the spirit of the book and imagination and theme with the help of writer and director and the 3D concept. Paul really comes with different concept with this movie and no one has ever done period’s movie in 3D and the concept and story suits very much to period gardens, costumes and the nature and backdrop of the movie completely take you to the period’s time.
